Alina Hambidge

Alina Hambidge graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2021 and has been practicing since May 2022. She utilizes a combination of techniques including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, passive and active stretching to address the specific needs of her clients. Alina is dedicated to providing patient-centered care and tailors each treatment to the individual.

She believes in treating both the nervous and muscular systems during each massage, placing emphasis on breathing techniques and muscular release. In terms of ongoing education, Alina is particularly interested in expanding her knowledge of women's health, pregnancy massage, and the intersection of massage therapy and the treatment of mental health issues.

During her leisure time, Alina enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with friends. She has a great sense of humor and always strives to make others laugh. Additionally, she has a passion for music, reading, black coffee, and engaging in meaningful conversations.

Ariana Almero

Ariana graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy program in 2015, and has been practicing massage therapy since November 2015. For as long as she can remember, Ariana has had a desire to help other people. In her years of practice, she has developed special interest in pre- and post-natal care, women’s health, paediatric care, TMJ massage and athletic injuries. Ariana believes mental health through relaxation is imperative to one’s wellness and incorporates relaxing Swedish massage into her therapeutic treatments plans. She has attended specialized courses for ligament articular strain technique, dermoneuromodulation and advanced joint mobilizations. She continues to expand her knowledge in relation to women’s health, visceral and sports medicine by attending courses available and reading articles on these subjects.

On weekends, Ariana is usually watching the newest movie releases with her husband, playing board games with friends and family, or playing video games on her Nintendo Switch. Ariana also participates in activities like escape rooms, aerial silks and recreational volleyball.

Catherine “Cate” Santos

Cate graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in 2014. From then she has gained experience and honed some of her techniques and modalities from the many outreaches she signed up for while in school (Ride to Conquer Cancer, Dance Marathon, Lululemon Marathon, UBC's athletes, Multiple Sclerosis inreach, BCIT staff, etc). Post graduation, she has also gained experience treating athletes, "weekend warriors", desk workers, healthcare providers, teachers, pre & post natal, mva, and various others in various ages. 

With these experiences, Cate applies and adjusts her different techniques and modalities to achieve results for each specific treatment within the patient's comfort. 

Cate is friendly, passionate, and loves the outdoors. She likes to go on light hikes, camping, kayaking and traveling. She has a Dogo Argentino that keeps her active and out often.

Cindy Prasad

Cindy is a graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy as of April 2019. She has a very positive and approachable personality with a passion for women’s health. Her experience ranges from tension due to everyday routines, to pre & post natal care to treating athletes at UBC and Douglas College.

Cindy has gained knowledge through experiences at Royal Columbian Hospital maternity ward, Canuck Place Hospice Care and Multiple Sclerosis inreach program.

“I believe in being a part of the recovery process for my clients, by identifying their concerns, providing effective treatments and offering homecare solutions that can be worked into their daily lives”.

Chris graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) and has been working in Surrey for the past few years. Chris uses active listening, thorough assessment, and long-term thinking to create treatment plans that are designed to actively involve and empower patients in their own recovery. His treatments often include steady, deep pressure, joint mobilizations, and trigger point therapy.

Jessica is a recent graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT). Throughout school she worked with a wide range of conditions from sports injuries to relaxation treatments. She has had the opportunity to work at different outreach programs including multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and pre/post natal clinics. She had always had a passion for health and wellness and a fascination for the human body.  Her goal is to work closely with patients to help them achieve their  optimal wellness goals. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, live music and trying the best restaurants around Vancouver!

Kristie graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy program in 2020. After rehabilitating from a sports injury using massage therapy in combination with therapeutic exercise, found a new passion in health science. At West Coast College of Massage Therapy Kristie attended many in reaches and out reaches including; multiple sclerosis, UBC and Douglas college sports massage, Kinsman lodge for the elderly, BACI for people with disabilities, South Granville Senior centre. She has developed special interest in treating orthopedic and neurological conditions as well as athletic injuries. On weekends, Kristie is usually discovering a new hike to climb, spending time with family and friends or at home watching movies with her husband and adopted cat Chantilly.

Monique graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2020. Before that Monique has been working as a body worker both in a spa and clinic setting and was able to integrate the techniques and modalities she has learned from both school and work experience. She has treated different kinds of patients including those with neurological disorders, pre and post natal care, athletes, as well as those seeking stress and pain relief in their everyday lives. Monique believes in applying pressure slowly, thus minimizing discomfort and allowing the body to relax completely. Her goal in treatment is to promote positive changes in each patient’s health and well-being. Outside of work, Monique is usually cooking, trying out new restaurants, hiking, camping and has recently started personal training. She is constantly trying out new experiences.

Mina graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in December of 2020. Being a dancer since age 3, she first became interested in learning more about human anatomy and physiology and began studying Kinesiology at UBC in 2014. In her third year in the program, she was introduced to massage therapy and knew that the profession was right for her. During her time at WCCMT, she had the chance to work with a variety of conditions and populations through outreach programs including: Royal City Manor, George Pearson Center, UBC varsity athletes and Multiple Sclerosis In-reach. She believes every patient has a story and is committed to working with each patient to achieve their individual health goals, and to improve their quality of life.

Rhea graduated from the 2200 hour program at WCCMT in 2015. Growing up on the Surrey-Langley border, she is committed to giving back to the community. Rhea believes in tailoring each treatment to the patient’s individual needs. Rhea utilizes a range of techniques specifically chosen to best suit each individual, and is comfortable treating a wide variety of conditions such as chronic pain, neurological conditions, repetitive strain injuries, TMJ dysfunction, physical manifestations of pain/discomfort as a result of stress and/or mental health struggles. With a passion for patient education and empowerment, Rhea has a desire for improving her patient’s quality of life. Happy to dismantle industry myths and provide practical homecare, she will work with you to give you your power back to take control of your health goals.

Rosemary “Rosie” Forst

Rosie approaches massage therapy treatments with a blend of both orthopedic and holistic techniques. She will find the balance between a relaxing and effective therapeutic massage treatment specific to your needs, create a treatment plan and provide home care, if indicated, and patient education to aid in recovery.

Rosie has a friendly and approachable personality and has experience treating pain and discomfort from desk work, pregnancy, injuries, stress, and systemic conditions. She has also treated Paralympians, Olympians, dancers, actors, and medical workers. Her past experience includes treating patients at Canuck’s Place hospice, UBC Athletics, South Granville Senior Centre, Century House, BC Women’s Hospital, Camp Imua (a Hawaiian summer camp for children with special needs) and the Maui Marathon.

After graduating from the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage, she continued her education at West Coast College of Massage Therapy where she was valedictorian, representative of her class and received the Harry Goldstein Leadership award. Rosie currently splits her time between working as an RMT, performing in local musical theatre and working as a Clinic Instructor/Supervisor at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy.

Simrat Singh

Simrat is a WCCMT graduate of 2021 and was chosen by his peers and instructors to be awarded the Joe Koscak Leadership Award for exemplifying integrity, passion, perseverance, a passionate heart and a caring soul. He came to Winnipeg from India in 2014 before finding a home in BC. He spent his time in Winnipeg getting his accounting certificate and working in automotive Industry. Simrat also appeared in Winnipeg free press newspaper for his dedication to give back to community by volunteering and then working as a Downtown Watch Ambassador for The Winnipeg Downtown BIZ who works closely with Winnipeg Police Services.

He has chosen the massage therapy profession to engage community and help people recover from injury. Simrat was able to get hands on experience by treating patients at different Outreach programs i.e, GF strong rehabilitation centre, UBC Thunderbirds, George Pearson Centre and also treating patients with variety of conditions at college’s clinic.

In Simrat’s free time he like to explore outdoors by Hikes or walk by seaside, Cross-country bike riding and spending time with family and friends. Simrat is trilingual fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and English.

Vishal is a graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy. During his schooling and time in clinical practice, he gained experience working with a plethora of soft tissue injuries and orthopedic issues, and he is committed to expanding his knowledge. He has worked with a variety of people of all ages and walks of life and has developed a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Vishal will focus on your individual needs and educate you to his best ability, to allow you to get the most benefit from your treatments.

Vishal had a very active upbringing, participating in a multitude of sports at a competitive and recreational level. His experience with athletics and fascination with the human body pushed him into pursuing physiotherapy. However, that path was derailed after a series of car accidents. The accidents triggered musculoskeletal pain that brought on depression and anxiety, and he experienced the profound impact these health concerns had on his day-to-day life. By putting his knowledge of the human body into practice, Vishal was able to rehabilitate his way back into health. He now has even greater empathy for people dealing with physical and mental health challenges.

With over six years of experience as a strength and rehabilitation coach and over two years as a Registered Massage Therapist, Vishal is driven and motivated to aid you in achieving your goals. Whether it be rehabilitating from an injury, preparing for a sports event, or simply seeking relief from everyday pain and discomfort, Vishal is here to help.

In his spare time, he can be found enjoying the outdoors, producing music, or spending time with his family.

Wilson Mah

Wilson graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in 2015. Wilson provides patients with evidence based manual therapy covering all aspects of physical health and well-being. With over 10 years of experiencing in the health care industry, his goal is to help his patients achieve and maintain their optimal health. Wilson also has a bachelor’s of science degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University (SFU). In his years as a registered Kinesiologist, he has worked with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists extensively. Having experience working with patients in both clinic and at home settings provide him with an exceptional skill set as a therapist. Wilson also has a decade of experience in dealing with leg and foot injuries as well as selling orthopaedic shoes. If you’re dealing with a nagging foot injury and you’re booked in with Wilson, bring in your shoes to help him provide you with the best possible advice. Lastly, Wilson also teaches at his alma mater (WCCMT) as both an instructor and as a teaching assistant.

In his spare time, Wilson loves playing sports! He plays in various adult sports leagues for basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee and dodgeball.
